Njide Ndili

Njide Ndili is the Nigeria Country Director for PharmAccess, an international NGO with an integrated approach addressing the demand and supply side of healthcare systems and uses digital technology to leapfrog development in the health markets in sub-Saharan Africa.

Her work promotes health insurance and innovative demand-side financing options; institutionalization of quality improvement methodologies; facilitating business loans for health SMEs through its Medical Credit Fund, technical assistance to enable private health SMEs to improve operations; leveraging digital technologies to connect patients, payers and providers and facilitating Public-Private Partnerships while working with low-income private healthcare providers and building capacity of government governance agencies.

 She is the Vice President of the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria (“HFN”), an advocacy platform seeking greater involvement of the private sector in strengthening the Nigerian healthcare system.  Njide was a Commissioner for the Lancet/Financial Times Commission on Digital Health and AI set up to accelerate UHC using digital technology, especially for the youth and LMIC, and a Founding Member of the Digital Transformation of Health Lab set up to implement the Lancet/FT Commission report recommendations.

Njide’s qualifications include an MSc Health Economics, Policy and Management, London School of Economics; AMP INSEAD Business School France; MBA University of Houston; Post Graduate Diploma Finance and B. Sc. Computer Science, University of Nigeria.
