Accessibility Statement

b2match (b2match GmbH) is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) in its current version by implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies (Official Journal L 327, 2.12.2016, p.1).

This Accessibility Statement applies to all events hosted at b2match.com.

Compliance Status

Due to the following inconsistencies and exceptions, the website is partially compliant with Level A and Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) and with the current European standard EN 301 549.

Non-accessible Content:

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

1. Non-compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines

When using a keyboard, the focus indicator may be partially cut off in the navigation header.

On the event website, the visibility of event information and the clarity of the focus state may vary depending on the layout selected for the website, potentially resulting in insufficient contrast between elements and unclear focus indication.

There may be occasional instances of empty or orphaned form labels, as well as missing legends on fieldsets. Elements have additional ARIA attributes in those cases. Additionally, reading out an entire form could be prevented by the errors correctly triggered in the form, which can be felt by users who rely on screen readers.

When requesting or editing a meeting, available dates and additional meeting participants may not always be read out by screen readers. Keyboard users may encounter difficulty accessing invitation status tooltips. Some users may not discern when the meeting form contains invalid input, potentially leading to confusion during the submission process.

In the group meeting modal, screen readers may encounter difficulties with the functionality of the member search feature.

When content is presented on a screen with a width of 320 pixels, a loss of content may occur on certain pages.

Upon completion, some actions may lack feedback for screen reader users.

A small number of instances were found where non-decorative visual content has been incorrectly labeled as decorative, potentially impacting users who rely on screen readers or other assistive technologies.

Currently, there is no information for screen reader users when new content is loaded.

There is an accessibility concern regarding the movement of focus when elements disappear, such as when deleting an item or clearing a search field. Currently, the focus may not reliably shift to the next relevant item, potentially impacting users who rely on keyboard navigation.

Currently, there is a lack of audible feedback for session chat actions, including receiving a new message and uploading a file.

Tooltips inside modals might not be announced by screen readers, leading to accessibility issues for users who rely on screen readers. Tooltips associated with dimmed buttons may not be effectively communicated, and the tooltip content isn’t selectable.

The action menu for recommended participants has an unclear label, and the arrangement of elements within participant cards might be confusing for some users.

Text within modals lacking interactive elements remains unread by assistive technologies.

2. Disproportionate Burden

Content provided by users, such as uploaded files, might not be accessible. We cannot comment on content from third parties, such as live streams, video conferencing tools, or any other embedded content, concerning compliance with accessibility regulations.

3. Content that does not fall within the scope of applicable legislation

PDF files, such as the PDF Agenda, have not undergone a comprehensive accessibility assessment.

The b2match mobile app has not undergone a comprehensive accessibility assessment.
