Avant Première Music + Media Market Vienna 2022 is the largest international trade fair for cultural TV and VOD content, presenting latest music and dance film productions for worldwide transmission.
Having worked with b2match event networking software in the past, they knew that their customer success manager was there to support them and lead them to growth.
"Many thanks for the great cooperation and the effective support throughout! We are very happy to say that our event was even more successful than last year and the participants’ feedback speaks for itself.”- Katharina Jeschke, IMZ Secretay General, IMZ International Music + Media Centre
Virtual Event Streaming for Exclusive Previews
Avant Première was organized to present attendees with exclusive screenings of the latest music and dance films, documentaries, artists' portraits, and concerts.
Since the event was virtual they utilized the b2match Live Stage to stream the screenings over the event website. Integrating their event content was a simple task of entering the embedded code from the streaming server they used (example: Youtube, Vimeo, etc.) into the event matchmaking app.
The content was then streamed on their event website where virtual attendees could watch. The chat functionality was enabled so attendees could discuss among themselves and connect.
Virtual Mentorship Sessions With a Bit of Fun
Avant Première also added mentoring sessions to the agenda where participants could get insights from senior industry professionals.
They did this in a fun, interactive way. They added Wonder.me to change up the virtual interaction. To do this, they simply created a session in their event agenda and pasted their Wonder.me online conference URL to the b2match event platform.
There, mentors waited on Wonder.me for participants to come join them to answer questions, provide useful tips, networking and experiences. The open, informal character of the format allowed participants to meet the mentor of their choice, and also fellow Avant Première participants.
People joined the session as little bubbles with their profile photos on them. They zipped around the screen, and when the bubbles crashed into each other, a virtual meeting room opened up and everyone could see and chat with one another.
Virtual Booths for Their Trade Show
What’s a trade show without exhibitor booths? However, booths are hard to translate to a virtual event. The Avant Première organizers knew this. So they used the b2match event Marketplace to maximize exhibitors' opportunities to really show off their services and offers, and to connect with event participants.
The Marketplace allowed exhibitors to create detailed entries filled with photos, files, and videos to display what they were offering. That could be anything like products, services, project collaboration, etc.
Participants could then utilize the smart search function and keywords to browse what the exhibitors were offering. If something was interesting, all they had to do was reach out over the b2match AI event matchmaking platform to arrange a meeting.
Participants Feedback About the b2match Event Networking Platform
The Avant Première organizers did a phenomenal job creating the event. It was chockfull of content, interactive networking opportunities, exhibitor connection and more.
The participant feedback about b2match was quite flattering too. Read some of the comments below.
“The b2b platform was such a good system to manage personal meeting schedules that hopefully it would be in use even when AP returns to normal on location events.”
“Great job as always, well done! Even as we go back to a live format (hopefully!), please definitely keep the b2match tool alongside the live event. It just makes the meeting scheduling and matchmaking so much easier…”
“I would like to STRONGLY suggest that we would be able to hold online meetings like these at least twice a year so we would use the "in person" event in Berlin, which I miss a lot, to consolidate the objective businesses that we had started online and celebrate our deals over a glass of champagne.”
