Alessio Armenise

Alessio Armenise started his own translation business in 2020. He mainly translates marketing, e-commerce and medical content from English, French and Spanish into Italian – his native language. He graduated in Specialised Translation and Conference Interpreting at the University of Trieste, which is part of the European Master's in Translation network. He also did a translation traineeship at the European Commission Representation in Italy, in Rome. He is an associate member of the Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters (AITI). In addition to being a translator, he is also a post-editor and a transcreator, two contrasting roles that are now key in the translation industry.

In the past few years, he has ventured into new roles such as language training and language consultancy. He has been teaching English and French to Italian learners, especially to young professionals and company managers. He has also been offering language consultancy for AI-based software producers.
