About me
Helen Dobby is an IT Project Officer for Artificial Intelligence in the AI-Based Services team at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Translation (DGT). She is also Joint Coordinator of the 'AI@EC network', a community of over 3,800 participants set up to identify and explore potential AI use cases and to build knowledge and awareness of artificial intelligence across the organisation. She previously worked as the Web Accessibility Coordinator in the Directorate-General for Communication (DG COMM) where she was responsible for drawing up and implementing the Commission’s Web Accessibility Action Plan.
My organisation
The Directorate-General for Translation translates texts for the European Commission into and out of the EU's 24 official languages, and a few others when needed. The department deals exclusively with written texts.
