Viable business models for a sustainable blue economy: How can we improve interaction between research, public sector and the business community?

The workshop will discuss the results of the Prep4Blue project in terms of business models, funding and regulations to support the decarbonisation of the blue economy, reduce marine and freshwater pollution and restore biodiversity. The workshop will then feature a world café, where stakeholders discuss their experiences when it comes to public-private partnerships, research and innovation, citizen involvement, and innovative ways to involve the business community in reaching Mission Ocean’s ambitious targets.
