About

E2 experience is focused on the obtaining of third-generation biofuels (aviation biofuels from algal oil) and second-generation biofuels (biodiesel) as alternative fuels for hydrogen technologies; biogas obtaining; valorization of by-products from the biodiesel production; ecological solvents from animal or vegetable waste.

E2 results in the utilization of Renewable Energy Sources as: Biomass (microalgal systems)  are in the field of decontamination of wastewater, also for the utilization of microalgae in obtaining useful compounds (lipids, antioxidants, biostimulants, phytocatalysts). E2 also develops sustainable systems for GHG biosequestration in microalgal biomass and exploitation of natural resources to obtain food supplements.
