Zoran Jeličić is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, and a corresponding member of the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia (AINS). He holds a PhD in Automation and Control Systems. He was a Humboldt Foundation fellow at the Technical University of Berlin and is a Visiting Professor at the Polytechnic University of Bari, Italy
He is a professor in Automation and Control Systems, actively involved in both teaching and industry collaboration.
His research focuses on optimization algorithms, nonlinear control systems, and the development of advanced control solutions, with numerous contributions implemented in practice and integrated into commercial systems.
He is the Founder and Director of the UNIDO Smart Manufacturing Innovation Center (SMIC) for the Western and has been actively involved in international collaborations and projects.
