About me
Born in Ruma, Serbia, in 1982. Obtained integrated MSc diploma in Computing & Control from the Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTS), University of Novi Sad, Serbia, in 2006, and PhD degree in Automation and Control Systems in 2011. Full professor at FTS in Novi Sad since 2021. Director of the Computing & Control Department of FTS since 2024.
Teaches several courses at FTS, including "Introduction to Control Systems", "Adaptive and Self-Learning Algorithms", "Applied Game Theory", and others. He is an author of 3 books (is Serbian), more than 40 journal publications, and more than 100 presentations at national and international scientific conferences.
Recipient of the award for the best paper written by a young researcher during ETRAN 2006 conference in the field of automatic control. A technical solution “Self-Adaptive Monitoring System” (SAMS) was awarded as the best technical solution in Southeastern Europe by the National Instruments company in 2013. Awarded ”Момчило Мома Новковић” Award by FTN for the results in teaching and research in 2013. One of the recipients of the Anatoliy Kilbas award in 2014, during ICFDA conference in Catania, Italy. During 2016 awarded by FTS as the best teacher. In the same year received the “Outstanding Reviewer” award by the international journal Asian Journal of Control.
Previously was visiting professor at Engineering School Bordeaux INP, Bordeaux, France, during 2023. Member of the Council of FTS (2018—2021). Head of the study program of Computing and Control at BSc and PhD level (2021 - 2024). Member of the collegium of PhD studies (Collegio dei Docenti) at Polytechnical University of Bari (Politecnico di Bari), Italy.
