This session will bring together leading academics and professionals to discuss the latest trends and innovations in application of AI and intelligent decision support systems in industry, with emphasis on predictive maintenance, fault detection and isolation, smart manufacturing and advanced process control. The participants will share their thoughts regarding the need to modernize and adapt the overall architecture of industrial software and hardware, as well as their experiences related to generation and utilization of data in industry. Topics related to privacy and security will be discussed, together with prospects of agent-based system design and federated learning approaches.

The discussion will provide a platform for sharing academic research and professionals’ opinion on practical issues related to application of cutting-edge AI techniques in industrial practice.
