After many years of scientific research, researchers at the movement and sports department of Ghent University (Belgium) developed 'SportKompas', a sports orientation tool for 8-9 year old children.

Based on a questionnaire about what kind of movements the child likes (I LIKE module), and 14 physical tests to assess what the child is good at (I DO module), two reports are generated which suggests sports that suit the interests and physical profile of the child best.

Hylyght supports the data collection through a dedicated test-app, facilitates the data management via our online platform, and allows the automatic generation of personalised reports. Additionally, anonymised data can be used by schools, policy makers, or researchers to evaluate secular trends in the fitness levels of the participants.
