Hylyght is a science-based SaaS platform for injury prevention, return to sport screening, talent identification, and sports orientation. With close ties to different universities and academic researchers, we make sure that our platform is backed by the latest scientific evidence. Hylyght offers tools to 1) facilitate measuring physical tests, 2) store, process, and visualise data in a structured online platform, and 3) enable clear communication of the results with stakeholders. In this way we support sports and/or health experts who want to work in a more scientific and data-driven manner. We highlight 2 of our solutions for the EPSI conference: Based on recent academic studies, we developed and fine-tuned the 'growth tracker', a tool to follow-up growth and maturity of youth athletes. Using the growth tracker, clubs and federations can reduce injury burden, improve talent detection, and provide maturation appropriate training programmes., In collaboration with Ghent University, the 'SportKompas' was developed, a sports orientation tool for 8-9 year old children. Next to providing sports suggestions based on the profile of the child, their physical fitness and motor competence can be easily compared to age and gender specific benchmarks. This allows schools to tailor their sports classes to the needs of their children, and provides policy makers with secular data on the fitness levels of children in different regions. Don't hesitate to reach out to us for more information !
