Colsen is a technology provider for wastewater treatment, biogas production and nutrient recovery systems. We develop all our technologies in-house and supply them all over the world as a contractor ourselves or by means of technology & engineering packages that we supply towards local contractors. In the latter we are subcontracted by a local contractor or we are involved in a consortium in order to be responsible for the process design and basic engineering of the specific technology we are supplying. Next to that we support the contractor with design choices during detailed engineering, procurement and realization, we give local operator training and support during start-up and commissioning. When working together as a partner with the local contractor we give performance guarantees and we also support with discussions towards the end client. Technologies we have in our portfolio are: NAS®: for efficient nitrogen removal with anammox;, UPHOS®: for recovery of phosphate by means of struvite;, AMFER®: for recovery of nitrogen;, BIDOX®: for biological H2S removal from biogas;, Thermophilic anaerobic digestion with DIGESTMIX®: for the efficient production of biogas from e.g. sewage sludge while also generating Class A Biosolids.
