Stuart Askew is an innovation leader with extensive experience in the consumer goods industry. He has worked for Procter & Gamble across different brands and regions, driving transformative innovation solutions. Stuart is skilled at developing strategies for open innovation and sustainability leadership. He has been a key leader in European and global teams, using consumer insights to fuel the growth of multi-billion-dollar brand businesses. Stuart bridges the gap between commercial and technical functions, leveraging consumer needs to design and commercialize successful products like Fairy Max Power, Fairy Platinum/Platinum plus, Ariel Pods and Dawn Powerwash, . He has a passion for front-end innovation, working with external partners, and promoting a culture of innovation. Stuart has completed courses in sustainability leadership and AI for leaders. He currently runs the R&D open innovation program for one of the business units at P&G working with SME's and other innovation partners to help P&G achieve its Ambition 2040 net zero targets. He is also interested in processes which can reduce safety risk in the area of biofilms and enzyme exposure to help supply chain operations as he leads an organisation focussed on process scale up from lab to plant.
