Coordination of the Digital Innovation Hub in Canary Islands.

CIDIHUB is a consortium of organizations and competence centers specialized in business digitalization, which provide key infrastructure and resources for the digital transformation of private companies and public entities. It operates mainly in the Canary Islands region, although it also collaborates and works with entities from other regions. and from other countries inside and outside the European continent.

The Canary Islands DIH coordinated by AVANTALIA, connects digital technology providers like Cloud Computing and HPC (High-Performance Computing) with entrepreneurs and Canarian SMEs who need them to grow and strengthen their competitiveness, and give rise to the appearance of new business areas in the context of digitalization and Industry 4.0. It aims to bring digital technologies closer to the regional industry, with special attention to SMEs, providing skills, resources, training, and advice, so that industry and business networks obtain the maximum possible benefit.

Likewise, based on this successful experience and other similar ones in different sectors and territories, Spanish and European, AVANTALIA offers demonstrable experience and consolidated methodologies to coordinate and energize collective organizations whose objective is the transfer of knowledge, good sectoral practices and the promotion of the culture of R&D&i among companies, public organizations, entrepreneurs and sector associations.

In 2022, CIDIHUB obtains the Seal European Excellence in digital innovation from the European Commission.
