EDUCATIONAL PRINCIPLES

In 2004, graduated from Zhytomyr National Agroecological University with a degree in ecology and environmental protection. On September 23, 2009, defended her thesis for the PhD degree in agriculture (speciality ecology). In March 2013, received the designation of associate professor in the Department of Forest Ecology and Land Reclamation. Dissertation for the attainment of the Doctor of Agricultural Sciences degree in the speciality 03.00.16 - Ecology, defended on June 8, 2018.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Since 2018, has served as the Head of the Educational and Scientific Centre of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Bioeconomy at Polissia National University.

2021 - present – a part-time professor at the Department of Ecology at Polissia National University.

From 2019 to the present, a senior researcher at the Laboratory of Physical Geography and Radioecology of the Chernobyl Radiation-Ecological Biosphere Reserve.

PROJECT ACTIVITIES:

2024-2027 – Project 101084084 — AGROSUS (Call: CL6-2022-FARM2FORK-02-01-two-stage): AGROecological Strategies for Sustainable Weed Management in Key European Crops. Funding Organization: Horizon Europe Framework Programme (HORIZON) (Country Leader).

2024-2027 – Project 101191240 – POLIDIH (Call: DIGITAL-2023-EDIH-04-ASSOCIATED). Funding Organization: EU Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL) (Project Coordinator).

2024-2026 – Geoinformation Support for the Transition to Organic Farming (Project Leader). Funded by the European Union's External Assistance Instrument to fulfill Ukraine's commitments under the EU Framework Programme Horizon 2020.

2023-2024 - A Pilot Project to Train Women Farmers on Progressive Crop Production Principles. Funding Organization: JICA, Japan, (Executor).

2023-2024 – Horizon 2020: Development of a Software-Technical Complex for Geospatial Data Management, funded by the EU's External Assistance Instrument for Ukraine’s obligations under the Horizon 2020 Programme (Project Executor).

Member of the Scientific Committee of the National Council of Ukraine on Science and Technology Development (Cabinet of Ministers Order No. 811-r, dated 15.09.2023).

Head of the National Contact Point of the Horizon Europe Programme, Cluster 6 "Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment".

Member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine (Order of the Ministry No. 408, dated 12.06.2023).

Member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Chernobyl Radiation and Ecological Biosphere Reserve.

Scientific Supervisor of the "Drevlyanskyi" Nature Reserve.

Member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the State agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management (Order No. 179-23, dated 4.10.2023).

Expert of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance in the fields of "Ecology and Environmental Protection," "Forestry," and "Agronomy."

Expert of the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for evaluating scientific projects by young researchers in Section 4: "New Technologies for Environmentally Safe Production and Construction, Environmental Protection, Extraction and Processing of Minerals, Chemical Processes, and Substances in Ecology."

Expert of the Committees of the Public Council at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, specialising in education, science, and sustainable development; on Protected Areas, Ecological Networks, and Biodiversity Conservation; Climate Change and Ozone Layer Protection; Environmental Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS:

2024 – UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Education – nominee from Ukraine.

2022 – Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Prize for Young Scientists for the work "Modelling of Spatiotemporal Variation in Production Potential and Biodiversity of Agro-landscapes in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe Zones of Ukraine" (Resolution No. 2833-IX, dated 13.12.2022).

2021 – Certificate of Honour from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for services to the Ukrainian people (Order No. 739K, dated 07 September 2021).

2022 – Certificate of Honour from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Order No. 263-k, dated 14 October 2022) for initiative, perseverance, high professionalism, diligent performance of duties, and significant personal contribution to the development of education and science in Ukraine.

2018-2020 – Scholarship recipient of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for Young Scientists.

2017 – Letter of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for many years of diligent work, significant contribution to the training of highly qualified specialists, and fruitful scientific and pedagogical activities.
