About me

With expertise animal science and biotechnology, I specialize in innovative early-life strategies to optimize health, particularly through microbiome modulation.

After earning M.Sc. in Biotechnology (2006) and DSc in Agricultural Sciences (2012), I have contributed to development of in ovo and in vitro research models for animal and preclininical science. I am part of team focusing on development and immunomodulation using nutriepigenetic factors and natural bioactive components, including probiotics and prebiotics.

I currently coordinate the OVOBIOM project investigating how probiotics and prebiotics affect animal intestine health through prenatal microbiome modulation. I contributed to multiple international research initiatives, including H2020 projects, and being member of scientific committe at European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP).

I tak part in interdisciplinary approach combining biotechnology, epigenetics, microbiology, oncological and gut health areas to identify signatures of therapy efficiency and develop sustainable solutions for health optimization.
