I am a professor at the Faculty of Forestry, Karadeniz Technical University, Türkiye. My research focuses on ecosystem services, afforestation potential, and carbon sequestration modeling using AI and GIS-based spatial analysis. I currently coordinate a national project funded by TÜBİTAK on carbon storage estimation in Turkish forests. I am also involved in international projects addressing environmental sustainability, urban resilience, and marginalized landscapes.
