SIMIDEA R&D Advance Acoustic Materials is a technology-based company, in which disruptive research has been carried out since its creation, its activity is indirectly linked to its location in Cartagena, where there is a great tradition of the manufacture of submarines at the Navantia Shipyard. This shipyard dates from 1731, where the world's first torpedo submarine powered by electrical power, was conceived and designed by Isaac Peral for the Spanish Navy in 1885. Research. Research on advanced materials with extreme acoustic capacities based on disruptive concepts. Microscopic design of materials, design of intermolecular forces, microscopic interaction of fluids and solid skeletons, controlling stability, energy dissipation, static, viscous, and dynamic coupling, in order to produce macroscopic acoustic effects. Custom development of anechoic or isolating materials with extreme capacities at low, medium, high, and ultrasonic frequencies. DEVELOPPED and IMPLEMENTED IN COMPUTER SOFTWARE: REOLOGICAL MODELS, ADVANCED ACOUSTIC MATERIALS, ANALYTICAL SOLUTIONS, VARIATIONAL FORMULATIONS and NUMERICAL METHODS. Software Poroacustica. Analytical simulation of advanced materials, where the microscopic effects and intermolecular forces influence the macroscopic behaviour of the aggregate. The software captures the acoustic macroscopic behaviour related to scattering, resonance, and dissipation effects at microscopic level. Software FE Poroacústica.
