About me
Natalia Le Gal is a behavioural scientist with a background in sustainable mobility and a special interest in changing health and mobility-related behaviours. With Movmi, she helps bring behavioural insights, methods and approaches to the shared mobility space, to accelerate the adoption of new, more sustainable ways of moving around. Natalia has an MA in Anthropology from University of Aberdeen and an Msc in Behaviour Change from University College London as well as 9 years of experience in electric mobility. This mix of understanding of technical aspects of mobility with a deep knowledge of why people do things they do and why they don’t do them differently gives her a unique perspective on mobility behaviour change. Her goal is to contribute to getting people to shift from personal vehicles to micro-mobility, shared mobility and public transport for environmental and societal benefits
My organisation
movmi is an agency focused on shared mobility, from micromobility, carsharing to Mobility-as-a-Service. We specialize in Shared Mobility Architecture: the design, planning and launch of new shared mobility services and we have won several awards for our work.
movmi’s team has been involved in over 70 shared mobility projects worldwide, including numerous carshare, micromobility and Mobility-as-a-Service projects. Our clients range from public agencies (e.g., TransLink, State of Luxembourg, City of Vancouver, City of Calgary, Vélib) to Fortune500 companies in the private sector (e.g., BMW, Honda) to new mobility startups (e.g., Superpedestrian/Link, Sparrow, Revel, Velometro/Veemo).
As a women-owned business we have made diversity, inclusion and a collaborative approach part of our DNA. We are a WBE Canada certified (Women Only Business Certification) business and an official signatory of the United Nation’s #weempower principles. We have been fostering dialogues and programs around inclusion and diversity for years. Our team is gender, racially and experience diverse. In 2020 we launched our first ever ‘Empower Women in Shared Mobility’ award.
