Session 12: Driving Sustainable Urban Mobility: Strategies for Behavioural Change

This session will spotlight innovative strategies aimed at fostering behavioural change towards sustainable urban mobility across European cities. Through a series of insightful presentations and interactive discussions, participants will explore a spectrum of initiatives designed to promote inclusive and effective mobility solutions. Topics will range from the implementation of incentivisation measures for public transport and multi-modal options to addressing the persistent gap between attitudes towards sustainability and actual mobility behaviours. Case studies will highlight successful approaches such as the UPPER project's diverse public transport incentivisation strategies and Antwerp's integration of comprehensive mobility data to encourage modal shifts. The session will provide a platform for stakeholders to engage in dialogue, exchange ideas, and collaborate on actionable steps towards advancing sustainable urban mobility practices.
