About me
A senior project manager on sustainable urban mobility who has worked on many EU-funded projects and works since 2018 at Forum Virium Helsinki, the non-profit innovation organisation of the city of Helsinki. Renske's work currently focuses on two different themes: the use of satellite data for urban planning and on building the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem.
My organisation
Forum Virium Helsinki is the innovation company of the City of Helsinki, dedicated to co-creating urban futures in collaboration with businesses, universities, the public sector, and Helsinki residents.
It's an in-house non-profit innovation company aligned with the City of Helsinki's strategy, engaging in 30–40 projects in parallel - the large majority EU projects. Forum Virium Helsinki pilots and develops urban innovations, scaling solutions for the entire urban community. The outcomes of these projects may include new companies, services, data, or practices.
Forum Virium Helsinki's strategy revolves around co-creating urban futures. The mission is to drive smart city development by introducing new technologies, operating models, and initiatives to the city community, with the vision of making Helsinki the most functional smart city in the world.
