SiC-based rectifier for GW-scale H2 production without grid distrubance - demo/pilot
About
Prodrive Technologies is developing the next-gen, modular bulk rectifier system (200kW modules up to GW+-scale) based on SiC technology for higher efficiency, reliability, stability and profitability.
Building on 30+ years in high-performance electronics development and production for semicon, life sciences and industrial application, Prodrive introduced the pioneering SiC-based rectifier with improved efficiency (98+%), almost no grid disturbance (THD) and an increased power factor compared to traditional IGBT or thyristor based systems. The novel rectifier technology can supply power to all electrolyser systems (0-1500V) without the need to replace the electronics when connecting a different electrolyser.
Prodrive is looking for projects and partners to demonstrate/pilot the rectifier in different circumstances and configurations. Please reach out if you are interested to discuss.
