European Marine Energy Centre - R&D Innovation Catalyst

EMEC are looking for potential collaborations in a variety of CETP call modules for the upcoming joint call.

As the first of it's kind, we are the leading test centre for wave and tidal energy devices. We offer wrap-around support for developers to test their equipment in real sea conditions.

We also support niche technologies and provide a testing ground for unique and novel applications of emerging technologies that can be exploited for marine energy production.

Alongside our marine energy facilities, we have dedicated hydrogen assets for R&D and demonstrations of new products that accelerate the use of hydrogen for a variety of use cases.

We are most interested in the following challenges and can facilitate a multinational project with our support:

• Deployment of novel marine energy devices, sub-components or key infrastrucutre that supports the marine renewable energy advancement.

• Assistance in developing emerging hydrogen production techniques, deployment of new and innovative integration technologies with existing renewable energy facilities.

• Synthetic fuels - Demonstration of scaling up for existing or new technologies, finding novel ways to produce synthetic fuel and incorporating carbon captured from the atmosphere to generate.
