My organisation

European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC)

https://www.emec.org.uk/

We are the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC), a pioneering organisation dedicated to the development and testing of marine energy technologies. Our mission is to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon future by providing world-class facilities and services for the marine energy sector. Located in Orkney, Scotland, we collaborate with industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to facilitate innovation and drive sustainable energy solutions from our seas. Together, we aim to pave the way for a cleaner and more resilient energy landscape across the world.

We also have significant experience in producing and utilising hydrogen from electrolysis using renewable energy and offer space for trial deployments of innovative new solutions for generation and integration with the existing energy mix.

We have a wide range of employees from differing backgrounds with suitable experience in engineering, environmental monitoring and consenting, business development and technical/operational capabilities.
