Large-scale hydrogen storage and power market modelling
About
We (Quantified Carbon) offer our expertise in power systems modelling to join a consotium focused on module "CM2024-05: Hydrogen & renewable fuels". We can support the overall project and work on an individual work package on "Large-scale hydrogen gas storage".
We have experience in the design of large-scale underground hydrogen storages for use within energy systems - more specificaly Lined Rock Caverns (LRC), and complex power market modelling and optimization. On hydrogen related topic, we’re collaborating with the state-owned Swedish mining and steel-making company LKAB on hydrogen production in iron/steel-making, hydrogen storage with Lined Rock Caverns (LRC), geomechanics and addressing geological uncertainties. On power market modelling topic, we're collaborating with Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv), Clean Air Task Force (CATF), Fortum, and more partners.
Quantified Carbon is an international consultancy firm that provides complex problem solving, modelling, and optimisation to support decarbonisation of energy systems and industries. See more details at https://www.quantifiedcarbon.com/.
