About

We believe that the perspective of widening the country with experience in the scope of the H2020 and HEU project would be beneficial for CETP consortia. WiseEuropa Institute - an independent think-tank based in Warsaw, Poland, is strategically reflecting European politics, foreign policy and economy.

Currently, we are already involved in several H2020 (for example 4i-TRACTION, newTRENDs) and HEU (ELEVATE) projects, as well as Norway grant (ccs4cee) focused on ex-post UE policy assessment and to some extent modeling.

We have both analytical and managerial staff capable of delivering and managing projects. We cooperate with Polish authorities and public administration (i.e. Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Climate), business associations (i.e. Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers), as well as leading universities (i.e. Warsaw School of Economics, AGH University of Technology).  We would see our competencies in:

• Addressing Central European specifics in international projects, including different mentalities and backwardness in some economic sectors

• Stakeholder engagement in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe

• Reviewing energy and transport policies in the context of climate and economic policies and the state of scientific knowledge

• Quantitative and qualitative methods for evaluation of energy and transport systems (including in-depth interviews, case studies)

• Development of a strategy for the development of the energy and transport sector (e.g. electromobility or hydromobility)

• Assessment of technologies as they apply to adaptable monitoring and maintenance solutions transport (using broad and deep knowledge of transport and mobility)

• Cost-benefit analysis (and more broadly: economics of transport in cooperation with WiseEuropa's economics team, e.g. economic modeling as part of an R&D project)

We are looking forward to further discussion.
