R&D Capabilities

• Building Energy Modelling (BEM) We conduct BEM for buildings to simulate, evaluate and optimise the energy performance of the building. The model can predict how much energy a building will consume, where that energy will be used, and how the energy can be used more efficiently.

• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) We perform CFD analysis and expose thermal gradient, heat transfer, pressure drop, flows across the system prior to prototyping.

• Thermal & Flow Analysis In recent world of engineering, there is a transition to simulation engineering instead of time-consum- ing and costly prototype engineering. We perform thermal and flow analyses to determine the most ideal designs in your products, detect problematic areas in your processes and help you to improve them.

• Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) We perform LCA to identify and quantify the environmental impacts of a product or service, and to identify opportunities to reduce these impacts.

• 3D Design and Optimisation We help you at the idea stage to turn your idea into a mechanical design with CAD. In addition, we optimise your existing systems by solving any geometric problems in your designs. Notably, we design and optimise solar panels, building solar facades, atmospheric water generators, evaporative coolers, heat exchangers, heat pumps, heat recovery units, boilers and other related thermal applications.

• Prototype and testing We prototype in line with the analyses and the perform tests in line with the standards. Then, possible improvement areas are determined by comparing the theoretical findings from the numerical analyses with the experimental findings obtained from the prototype tests.

• Case study building We can provide a case study building to install and test the developed energy technologies in a semi-arid climate and collect data.
