About
Our SIES VPP and VPP Value Assessment Modelling Software Environments are implemented at the Energy Technology Centre (ETC) to form the SIESVPP Centre, a physical test and devlopment centre, to support system development in a virtual VPP, and allow systems to be characterised to allow them to be represented in the SIES VPP Value Assessment Modelling Software and Methods so that optimum value is achieved. ETC has physical thermal, combustion, battery, thermal storage, heat pumps, CHP engines, rolling road, PV, wind and hydrogen and other compression and chemical storage technologies. We also provide a 'Virtual VPP' hardware in the loop test environment for flex / storage / renewable system developers. The SIES Centre also has access to remote wind and also remote 'Energy Pools' through the SIES VPP monitoring and control platform allowing remote and local system testing and integrations.
