Hydrogen-selective membranes solution
About
Osmoses makes thin-film membranes with unprecedented performance in selectivity, permeance, and resistance to contaminants. We specifically make membranes that can separate hydrogen from other gases such as methane. Our membrane excels at bulk separations, i.e. increasing the concentration of hydrogen in a gas mixture from 20% to 80%. Unlike other separation processes, our membranes only need the energy inherent in a pressure difference, which already exists in many industrial processes. Our membranes offer the opportunity to decarbonize and reduce the cost of many applications, including purifying renewable natural gas, natural gas deblending, refinery off-gas recovery, and clean hydrogen production. We are eager to partner with more established companies in the EU.
