Verkís is a consultancy firm offering top quality service in all engineering disciplines. We have been involved in many overseas projects in different parts of the world, mostly related to heating and cooling, energy and infrastructure. Our local projects in Iceland have a wide span. We put emphasis on innovation and are involved in both local and European grant projects, and have expertise in both the writing process and participation in such applications. Verkís is leading two large-scale €26 million innovation projects focused on energy transition in maritime transport with e-fuels solutions and wind and solar energy technologies: GAMMA and WHISPER, respectively. In both projects Verkís is in charge of key aspects of the projects (not always the same in both projects). For instance: project management, technical project management, piping design and bunkering of e-fuels, safety and risk management for the e-fuels, aerodynamic simulations and life cycle analyses.
