Paride Gullo

The Cooling and Heating Research Group is active at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Sønderborg (Denmark). The group conducts research activities mainly related to sustainable cooling and heating technologies, natural working fluids, waste heat recovery, thermal energy storages, conventional and smart control algorithms (e.g., data-driven control, adaptive model predictive control, energy optimizing control, reinforcement learning and safe learning-based control, model identification/estimation using machine learning algorithms, fault detection and fault tolerant control, robust optimal control), among others.
