About
I hold a PhD degree on naval architecture and marine engineering. My main fields of expertise are life cycle assessment, maritime decarbonization, and sustainable maritime. I've been working on shipping emissions and maritime decarbonization for more than 10 years and I have numerous papers on maritime decarbonization. I was a visiting researcher at World Maritime University between March-November 2023 and during this period, I worked on all aspects of maritime decarbonization, including environment, economic, and social. I serve as an observer to IMO on behalf of the Turkish government and I am a part of several EU-funded projects.
