I'm a 43-year-old Aerospace Engineer from Liège, specializing in modeling and algorithms, driven to apply my skills to the challenges of the energy transition.
I graduated from the University of Liège in 2005 with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
My career began as an R&D Engineer in the Defence Industry, where I specialized in modeling and algorithm development. Over seven years, I was deeply involved in the complete development of a guided rocket, from a blank sheet concept to the first prototype trial. Following this, I transitioned to the Automotive industry, where I applied my expertise in similar technical challenges.
In 2015, I launched my own venture, Fleye, focusing on developing a personal drone. Together with my co-founder, we took the project from a conceptual pitch to showcasing our prototype at CES. Unfortunately, the project didn't achieve commercial success.
From 2017 to 2020, I worked as a freelancer, providing my technical expertise to clients in the Transport, Aerospace, and Defence sectors.
In 2020, I returned to my roots at Thales, where I spent over three years as Head of Engineering, leading a team of 45 engineers.
Since the beginning of 2024, I have shifted my focus to ANTwork to contribute to the energy transition. I am convinced that this is one of the most critical challenges of our time. There is a pressing need for advanced modeling to understand the complexities we face and to ensure that we make informed decisions to reach a zero-emission world through the fastest and most feasible trajectory.
My organisation
ANTwork is a start-up committed to equipping clients with the right tools to navigate the energy transition.
We develop advanced modeling and simulation software (digital twin) for energy flows on a industrial site or building, optimizing investments in PV, charging stations, HVAC systems, thermal storage or batteries. Our tools help quantify economic and environmental benefits, simplifying decision-making and financing.
Today, the question isn’t just how much energy we use, but when. ANTwork's solutions incorporate this timing aspect to accurately simulate costs and carbon impact, supporting a more sustainable future.
