About me

I am a distinguished Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Bapatla Engineering College, Bapatla, with over 22 years of teaching experience. I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Power Systems from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, awarded in 2017. Prior to that, I completed my M.Tech in High Voltage Engineering and B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the same university, demonstrating academic excellence with notable achievements at each stage of my educational journey.

My research interests focus on key areas such as Electrical Machines, Power Systems, Power Quality, AI, Blockchian,ML, IoT and High Voltage Engineering, contributing significantly to these fields through my international and national journal publications. My works include topics ranging from IoT-based smart farming systems to advancements in machine learning models for energy consumption prediction, along with a deep interest in emerging technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence in power systems.

Beyond my academic achievements, I played an active role in organizing and coordinating various workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs (FDPs), especially those related to power system analysis, power quality, and electrical systems design. My leadership roles extend to being a M.Tech coordinator, R&D coordinator, and prime editor of his department's newsletter, contributing to the enhancement of research and academic standards at Bapatla Engineering College.

In addition to my teaching and administrative responsibilities, I delivered guest lectures on topics like power quality and transformer protection, sharing my expertise with students and professionals alike. My dedication to research and development has earned recognition as a PhD guide, supervising multiple research scholars at Annamalai University.

I also a member of several professional bodies, including the International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and IFERP, further showcasing my commitment to staying at the forefront of my field. My contributions to academic development and industry-related advancements have solidified my reputation as a respected academician and researcher in the field of electrical and electronics engineering​ and IoT along with Computer Science Engineering. Recently I received Best Teacher Award on the occasion of Engineers day 2024 for academic excellence during the academic year 2023-24.
