Hello, my name is Dr. Stefano Landini, and my research focuses on advancing energy systems for a more sustainable future. My expertise spans electrical and thermal energy systems, renewable energy technologies, heat transfer, and thermal management, with a particular emphasis on energy storage integration and system optimization.
I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, where I specialized in the thermal management of Li-ion cells. My academic journey includes degrees in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic of Milan and Renewable Energy Engineering from Heriot-Watt, both completed with distinction. Throughout my career, I have collaborated with industry partners such as Sorgenia Spa, Natural Power Ltd., and SolarisKit Ltd., working on projects ranging from geothermal and wind energy to solar thermal collectors.
Currently, I am engaged in research collaborations internationally, contributing to cutting-edge innovations in energy and exergy analysis, thermal management, and phase change cooling.
As a founder of the Thermofluids Lab, I am committed to developing high-performance, efficient energy solutions that drive the transition toward cleaner and more resilient energy systems.
I look forward to exchanging ideas and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in the field of energy research.
