Catalyst development for ammonia production as potential carbon free-fuel for renewable energy applications

Tugba Akkas Boynuegri

Postdoctoral Researcher at University of St Andrews

Fife, United Kingdom

About

The main goal is to meet the energy requirement without CO2 emissions. For this reason, the development of noval catalysts in special structures for the efficient synthesis of ammonia, which can be used as a hydrogen carrier material and green fuel. The synthesis of green ammonia with high efficiency will increase the commercialization potential and accelerate the implementation of green ammonia production.

As a result I carried my studies at the School of Chemistry, University of St Andrews in the UK. It is known that it is one of the first countries to take action for innovative clean energy solutions that help reduce harmful emissions from energy production and use, and is a test site in the field.
