About me
I graduated from Gazi University as a chemical engineer in 2007 and then took my MSc degree from Istanbul Technical University. My master thesis was related with biocompatible polymers and their surface modifications. After that I started to work in ETIMADEN and also enrolled the PhD at Gazi University. My doctorate thesis dealt with metal boron hydride synthesis and catalytic dehydrogenation. While I was proceeding my doctorate studies, I took a role as a chemical engineer and coordinator in some projects at the Technology and Development Department. Lately, I have had a grant from TUBITAK BIDEB-2219 to be a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Prof.John Thomas S. Irvine at the University of St Andrew. I have been working to develop a catalyst for ammonia production under mild conditions.
