Dr. Hüseyin Turan Arat is an associate professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Sinop, Türkiye. His primary research interest is in hybrid and electric vehicles, hydrogen energy, simulation, and vehicle applications. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Çukurova, Türkiye, in 2016. He has three book chapters, more than sixty publications, and one TR patent to his credit. He is the recipient of the 2019 Carl-Jochen Winter Award from the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy (IJHE). He is also a board member of the National Hydrogen Technologies Association of Türkiye.
