Manuel Silva

Manuel Martins Silva is the Research & Technology Manager for Healthcare sector at PCI Creative Science Park – Aveiro Region. Manuel has a PhD degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering, both from the University of Aveiro. Manuel was a Research & Innovation Manager at the Resolve-Health Acceleration program at i3S (Institute for Research and Innovation in Health – University of Porto). He was the Chief Scientific Officer of SUMTHINK, a Start-up focused on innovation and development of clinical solutions. Manuel has focused his career on the Knowledge transfer, certification, and regulation of technology-based medical devices.
