With over 30 years of experience in molecular biology, genetics and more recently genomics and multiomics in the health industry and in academica, besides obtaining and managing multi-million Euro grants. Currently leading the EU funded EIC Pathfinder project TargetMI where a multidisciplinary team is applying bioinformatics to analyse clinical and multiomic data using novel approaches to discover biomarkers and risk algorithms for early detection of people at risk and novel drug targets to prevent heart attacks.
