About EPFL Investor Day
Over the course of the day, investors and entrepreneurs have the opportunity to connect, explore investment opportunities, and discover the future disruptive technological trends.
PITCH SESSIONS
This year's EPFL Investor Day will feature engaging pitch sessions, where a curated selection of startups seeking funding in the next 12-18 months will showcase their innovative ideas.
These startups, from wide range of sectors—Healthtech, Industry, ICT, AI, Cleantech, Space, etc —will present to a discerning audience of investors. The pitch sessions will include a mix of stage funding from pre-seed, seed, and round A to growth stages. Additionally, we will have a special session dedicated to presenting startups in creation, providing a glimpse into the future of innovation.
ONE-on-ONE MEETINGS
These focused meetings will be at the heart of the event, emphasizing the importance of networking and personalized interactions. In 15 minutes, investors and entrepreneurs can engage in quick, efficient meetings designed to foster meaningful connections.
Last year, we facilitated over 270 individual meetings, along with numerous spontaneous interactions. This year, we aim to build on that success, offering even more opportunities for impactful connections.
LAB DISCOVERY TOUR
The Lab Discovery Tour is back for this year's EPFL Investor Day. This tour offers a unique opportunity to get an inside look at where startup innovation is born and meet the visionary founders behind it.
Investors will have the chance to explore cutting-edge labs on the EPFL campus. The specific labs and areas, covering a range of innovative fields, will be announced shortly before the event.
PLENARY and KEYNOTE
Our dynamic program includes a plenary session and keynotes with leading voices from venture capitalists, industry experts and successful entrepreneurs engaging in insightful discussions. The plenary session will focus on the theme "Building Global Startup Leaders", exploring strategies for developing startups and achieving global success.
STARTUP AND ACCELERATOR VILLAGE
The Startup and Accelerator Village will be a vibrant hub where startups present their innovative products and services, eager to captivate investors with their tangible prototypes. Accelerators will serve as beacons of expertise and support, showcasing the dynamic ecosystem of Western Switzerland. This village will highlight the depth and breadth of resources available to budding entrepreneurs, demonstrating the rich support network that drives innovation and growth in the region.
