Spain-Netherlands EDF matchmaking 2025

The European Defence Fund (EDF) aims to stimulate and support common and cross-border research and development in the field of defence. In support of the EDF and European cooperation, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) is organizing an EDF innovation mission. This mission is a follow up of last years innovation to Spain and will take place in the Netherlands between 17 and 19 March.

The aim of this innovation mission is to improve the cooperation between companies and knowledge institutes of both countries in relation to the EDF. In order to ensure an interesting programme and relevant matchmakings for the participats, the innovation mission focusses on themes relevant for both countries.

Who can participate?
The innovation mission is open to all companies, organizations, knowledge institutes and universities who would like to discover the opportunities to collaborate (further) with Spanish & Dutch partners on the selected themes in relation to the EDF.

Registration
If you are interested to join you can register on this B2Match platform using the registration button. The deadline for registration is on the 7th of march

Registration does not guarantee participation. Following an initial registration and after the deadline you will receive a confirmation when your registration has been accepted. Participation is based on a first come, first serve basis and on relevance of the company in relation to the programme. Depending on the total number of participating companies, a maximum of 1 person per company can participate.

The mission does not include travel and accommodation costs (hotels and flights/train tickets) and all individual costs, such as lunches and dinners outside the program.

In continuation of last year’s innovation mission to Spain,, this innovation mission will offer you another chance to find, connect and possibly find future collaborations with relevant Spanish or Dutch partners on themes of interest. During the program, there will be a reception relevant presentations, SME pitches, time for matchmaking and networking opportunities. As a result of this program participants can benefit from:

• Networking opportunities: The event provides a great opportunity to meet and connect with like minded individuals, who also are working or have interest in the same industry on relevant themes selected by the Ministry of Defence of both Spain and the Netherlands. There will be ample time for networking during the matchmaking, company visit or lunch.

• Knowledge sharing: The event features expert speakers who share their insights and knowledge on their experience. This can provide attendees with new ideas, perspectives, and strategies that they can apply to their work or personal life.

• Present your idea: During this mission there is th eopportunity for SMEs to pitch their ideas to established companies within the EDF. This increases their visibility within the EDF and will possibly lead to inclusion in one of the consortiums for 2025

• Collaborate with others: The main goal of the event is to lay the foundation for collaborations in relation to the EDF. During this event participants can meet relevant potential partners, collaborators, or even competitors and share ideas and insights and hopefully create or participate in a consortium.
