Solmeyea is a purpose-driven biotech company producing carbon-negative functional food ingredients as an alternative to animal-based and plant-based proteins. Our patented hybrid microalgae cultivation process is the only technology that ferments microalgae using CO2 instead of glucose, at a rate 200x faster than photosynthesis. Utilizing SCOPE1 CO2 and Greece’s renewable energy resources, we produce microalgae-derived proteins in various colors at a significantly lower cost. Our process is carbon-negative, utilizing less than 1% of the land needed by crops for the same protein output. We aim to decarbonize the industries starting from FMCGs.
