Suzanne Brennan

Working in the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine since 2023, as Head of the EMFAF Managing Authority I work closely with Ireland's marine agencies. These agencies implement the majority of measures which support Ireland's commercial seafood sector and that are eligible for funding under Ireland's EMFAF Operational Programme.

I engage regularly with with industry representative bodies through a variety of fora, in addition to engaging with other state agencies that provide supports to the sector, working to ensure we have a robust and comprehensive suite of supports in place across all of the relevant agencies.

Prior to joining the Department, I have held a variety of roles in a number of other government departments, with experience in operational, communications, strategic policy, human resources and industrial relations roles.
