Workshop 7 "Protecting Subsea Infrastructure"

This workshop aims to increase awareness of the challenges of protecting critical underwater infrastructure; and to outline current and emerging approaches to protecting them e.g. via VIGIMARE Project (Horizon Europe) towards strengthening the resilience of Critical Infrastructure Owners against threats to the European submarine Critical Infrastructure. We will discuss relevant aspects of the EU’s Maritime Security Strategy and will describe how individual member states and infrastructure owners are taking steps that will improve security and resilience of underwater infrastructure in the face of growing threats.
