Mayra Liz Guzman-kaslow

I am a trained Pharmaceutical Chemist and Chemical Engineer, and I also hold a Master's degree in Materials Science Engineering and Thermodynamic Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, OH. My career began in my twenties, working with leading pharmaceutical companies in USA and the rest of the world,and supporting the FDA in various capacities. I have extensive experience in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, design, engineering, operations, and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. With experience in over fifteen startups worldwide, I am also a Certified Project Manager, public speaker, and business development professional, having worked extensively in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Notably, I developed a molecular test for COVID-19 that received FDA approval during the pandemic.

Additionally, in 2020, I had the honor of being recognized as one of the 12 most influential women in the world of science, politics, and technology in a Forbes magazine article.
