Real Coordinate Projection System (RPCS) is a Coordinate Reference System based on a new advanced cartographic projection, designed to ensure accurate and reliable global positioning even in contested scenarios. RPCS arises as a direct response to the shortcomings of the GNSS system (GPS, Galileo, etc.) in the face of interference and electronic warfare attacks, providing a robust alternative in scenarios where satellite signals are blocked or spoofed. In its essence, RPCS is a Coordinate Reference System (CRS) free of the distortions of traditional cartographic projections, allowing accurate measurements of distances and bearings at any point on the planet, where it also overcomes the limitations of current geodetic CRS such as WGS84 or PZ90 and on the other hand, greatly improving the performance of projected CRS such as the UTM projection. The RPCS is designed to integrate with navigation radars and inertial systems and to improve the performance of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), optimizing position determination in scenarios where traditional systems are insufficient. Its main advantages include: - Integration with radar navigation systems - Optimization of Inertial Navigation, increasing the useful life of the same - Reduction of Operational Risks due to the precision achieved, where the ISS orbit has been projected to 10cm in its entire orbital trace.

About me

The main founder of KeplerKoord is Juan Andrés Gómez Ortiz and current Co-CEO and CTO of the startup. Juan Andrés graduated in Geomatics Engineering and Topography from the University of Jaén, achieving the best record of his promotion. Later, continuing his education at the University of Jaén, he did a Master in Geodetic Engineering and Applied Geophysics where he achieved again the best record of his promotion, developing dynamic models of the atmosphere to analyze the deviations of the electromagnetic waves emitted by the GNSS.
