Researching the efficient deployment of Operator Assistive Technologies (DWI, AR/VR, HMIs, etc.) in challenging production environments.

About me

I work as the Technical Domain Lead for Operator 4.0 research at Flanders Make. With a Masters’ degree in Mechanical Engineering (KULeuven, 2016) and extensive research experience in multidisciplinary projects, I developed a broad expertise in product & process optimization, design for manufacturing and human-robot collaboration. My current focus is on Operator Assistive Technologies, including digital work instructions, collaborative robotics, and AR/VR training. More specifically, exploring how to deploy these technologies more effectively within flexible manufacturing environments.

My organisation

We are Flanders Make, the strategic research centre for the manufacturing industry in Flanders. Our mission is to drive innovation by bridging the gap between research and industry, enabling companies to enhance their competitiveness through advanced technologies and collaborative projects.
