About me
Stuart began his career in the oil & gas sector, working within marine and offshore construction before joining Eden Scott’s Renewable Energy business. He covers bother temporary and permanent appointments up to Executive level, working across a broad range of renewables technologies, including onshore & offshore wind, wave & tidal, solar PV and energy from waste.
He works with end user clients, tier 1 developers, engineering consultancies and the associated supply chain feeding into the renewable energy sector, typically focusing on niche engineering and commercial skills. Most recently Stuart has been working extensively within the offshore sectors, working with Crown Estate Scotland as they grow their energy & infrastructure team in response to ScotWind and increased investment in the wave & tidal sector.

Eden Scott was formed in 2003 by three recruitment industry specialists, who had formerly been Directors at Scotland’s then largest recruitment company, Melville Craig, and all with in-depth experience in the Executive Search function. We have subsequently grown the business to 45 staff over 3 offices – Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen and our turnover last year was c£17 million. Integral to our success and growth has been a focus on quality and a desire to build a company and brand that reflected our client’s expectations of excellence. We believe our track record within the Clean Energy sector is excellent, not just in filling posts but also in creating and managing processes which provide a very positive experience for clients and candidates alike.
